Getting Started with Claridex
Get your Claridex Score and find your first optimization opportunities in under a minute.
Step 1: Install from the Shopify App Store
Find Claridex in the Shopify App Store and click Add app. Claridex will ask for a small set of permissions (product data and store information) -- nothing more than what it needs to do its job.
Step 2: Your catalog is scanned automatically
There is no setup wizard. The moment you install, Claridex reads your product catalog and scores every product. You will see your Claridex Score on the dashboard within about a minute, depending on catalog size.
Step 3: See your score and top opportunities
The dashboard shows your overall Claridex Score with SEO and AI Discovery sub-scores. Below that, you will see your biggest opportunities -- the changes that would move your score the most, listed in order of impact.
Step 4: Explore individual products
Navigate to the Products page to see per-product scores. Click any product to see a breakdown of what is strong and what can be improved.
Step 5: Generate your first optimization
On any product page, click Generate to create optimized suggestions for titles, descriptions, alt text, highlights, and FAQ content. Claridex shows you the current value and the suggested value side by side. Nothing changes in your store until you click Apply.
Step 6: Apply and watch your score improve
After reviewing a suggestion, click Apply to push it to Shopify. Your Claridex Score updates to reflect the change. If you change your mind, click Revert to roll back to the original value.
Tips for getting the most out of Claridex
- Start with your best sellers. Focus optimization on the products that matter most to your revenue first.
- Review every suggestion. Claridex generates professional copy, but you know your products best. Edit anything that does not sound right before applying.
- Check back weekly. Your weekly re-audit catches new products and tracks progress over time.
- Explore the AI Discovery Breakdown. It shows how discoverable each product is per AI assistant, so you can see where the biggest gaps are.
